Our Purpose
Trinity Christian Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the local and worldwide ministries of the church.

The ladies invite you to join them for fellowship and devotions.

Wilma Jane
Circle meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 9:15 am.

Ladies Friendship Circle
also meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 2:30 pm.

Funeral Dinners
Funeral dinners are an ongoing much appreciated service to grieving families and a project of service project of the Trinity Christian Women. Special family dishes are included when possible. The ladies prepare and serve the dinner. The church family of Trinity help provide homemade desserts.

Prayer Shawls
Whether they are called prayer shawls, Comfort Shawls, Peace Shawls, or Mantles, etc., the shawl maker begins with prayers and blessing for the recipient.  The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on its way. Some recipients have continued the kindness by making a shawl and passing it on to someone in need. Thus the blessing ripples from person to person, with both the giver and receiver feeling the unconditional embrace of a sheltering, Mothering God.

Days For Girls
The ladies here at Trinity have taken the opportunity to make a difference in lives of young women in foreign lands. Why spend our time helping them? Because this is the right thing do according to Jesus. He said to help others. This is our opportunity to do that.

Young girls in Haiti, Liberia and all over areas of Africa have to put their lives on hold during their monthly menstrual periods. They often have to use moss, leaves and straw to pad their underwear during this very private time every month. And those are the lucky girls. Others don’t even have underwear. These girls have to stay home. They watch the lives of other girls and boys go on. If a girl has her period during the exams at school she has to miss these tests and repeat that year. You can understand why after so many years of struggling to get ahead just to have to keep repeating years of school makes these girls just quit.

If you would like to join us, we meet the second Tuesday of the month from 9;15 – 11:30 am. We need you and anyone you can bring to help. We need cutters, ironers{ is that a word?} and sewers. We need your sewing machine, sergers and a darker color thread.

All ages are encouraged to come and help. We have a job for everyone.

If you are able to donate fabric, we can use 100% flannel or 100% cotton. Please make sure it is a pretty dark color and the heavy grade and please be sure to pre-wash the fabric before bringing it in.For more information on Days For Girls International – https://www.daysforgirls.org/
